Waldock, Albert Victor

Albert was born in 3rd quarter 1885 at Ashwell, Hertfordshire, the elder son of Albert and Annie Mary (nee Bailey). The family moved to the London area when Albert Victor was about two years old.

Albert enlisted at Bexley Heath with the London Regiment, 2nd (City of London) Battalion, Regimental Number 233378.  He served in the Western European Theatre of War, France and Flanders.  He died in England of wounds on 5 September 1917 and is buried in the Chislehurst Cemetery, Kent.

Albert was awarded the Victory Medal and the British War Medal.

Albert married Violet Knight in Bromley, Kent in the first quarter of 1916.
