George was the third son of Benjamin and Esther (nee Huffer) Bryant of Victoria Cottage, Ashwell, Hertfordshire. He was a pupil at the Merchant Taylors School, Ashwell.
John was born at Esher, Surrey in the 2nd quarter 1894, the only child of Robert and Alicia (nee Leman) Noyes of London.
Jonah was born in the 4th quarter 1888 at Campton, Bedfordshire and lived in Eyeworth, Bedfordshire. He was the second son of George and Amelia (nee Gregory) Sole.
Ernest was born in April 1876 at Ashwell, Hertfordshire, the sixth son of George and Mary Ann (nee Shambrook) Sole of Ashwell.
