Zoar Strict Baptist Chapel

The Particular ( Strict ) Baptists were meeting in a cottage in Mill Street in 1851, known as the Mill Street meeting of the Particular Baptists, which had been registered licensed for worship in 1847. Numbers increased over the next few years, so in 1854 Joseph Flitton of Radwell Mill had a new, purpose built chapel erected in Gardiners Lane. It was built using Stotfold brick and slate roof tiles.

During the 1920’s the name was changed to Zoar Strict Baptist Chapel.
