Open Again

The Renovated Museum 2020

Glad to say that now government restrictions have been eased the museum will be open again from Sunday 25th July. Normal opening times will apply: 2.30 to 5pm on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.

For you to see we will have some old favourites but there are also many new discoveries we have brought out for your delight.

Please respect the wishes of our volunteer staff who will advise you on the best routes around the building, depending on other visitors. If we have a crush you may be asked to wait outside for a short while!

We will gradually bring back our other services and regular events over the coming months – look out for information.

We feel this is in the best interests of visitors and the volunteers who run the museum.

Hopefully all will be back to normal soon and our lovely renovated building will be full of exciting things for all to enjoy.
